Per Diem Physical Therapist to provide In-Home/Travel physical therapy visits.
Physical Therapy services for patients who live in Bergen County and are unable to travel to or have difficulty traveling to our clinic but can benefit from outpatient physical therapy.
One-on-one physical therapy for almost an hour with each patient.
Flexible scheduling allows the therapist to arrange their own hours.
Therapist must be able to drive to clients.
Part Time/Per Diem Physical Therapist to provide evening hours in our Tenafly, NJ Outpatient Office.
Therapist to provide 10 - 20 hours per week at the clinic during evening hours.
We schedule 2 patient's an hour to allow our therapists 30 min one-on-one time with the patient.
Therapist will need to communicate efficiently and appropriately with a physical therapy aide and front office staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Therapists must be organized and self motivated.
- Therapists must be diligent with their documentation; Therapists will use WEBPT as an EMR to complete their documentation. Staff training is provided on using WEBPT.
- Therapists will need to develop a plan of care based on physician’s orders and evaluation findings, perform patient evaluations, including all pertinent tests and measurements appropriate for required documentation in a timely manner, communicate in a timely manner with other health care professionals, and adhere to billing compliance standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Therapists must have a valid New Jersey Physical Therapy License and a valid Driver's license
- Orthopedic outpatient experience is preferred; New Grads welcome
- Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States as we are not able to sponsor applicants for work visas at this point in time.
The Occupational Therapist is a member of the home care team who provides rehabilitation care to the clients as requested by the client and, when required, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the policies of the Agency.
- Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate or masters program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
- Is licensed to practice as physical therapist within the State of New Jersey.
- Has at least two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist. Community/home health experience is preferred.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
- Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health. Has presented a preemployment screening including a negative TB skin test and/or CXR and other tests as required by the Agency.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
The Front Desk Administrator is a member of the home care team who provides rehabilitation care to the clients as requested by the client and, when required, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the policies of the Agency.
- Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate or masters program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
- Is licensed to practice as physical therapist within the State of New Jersey.
